Job description

Join to apply for the Account Executive role at Kellanova.

This position supports the Away From Home Team, managing customer relationships and delivering sales and profit growth across various foodservice segments, including K-12, College/University, Healthcare, Business & Industry, and Commercial accounts. It is a remote role, based in the greater Los Angeles area.

The role offers participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.

Responsibilities
  1. Development and Execution of Business Plans: Oversee and create new business opportunities to enhance Kellanova's presence in the food service industry, focusing on data-driven strategies such as void closures, white space opportunities, assortment optimization, and upselling.
  2. Leading Sales Efforts: Exceed customer expectations, foster loyalty, increase satisfaction, and drive growth.
  3. Conduct Business Reviews and Provide Solutions: Engage with top operators and distributors, offering solutions based on category management, consumer insights, industry trends, and customer analysis.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Use CRM tools to maintain accurate customer data, record sales activities, and generate KPI reports to monitor performance and trends.
  5. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and improve overall sales performance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in Food Service sales and account management
  • Strong skills in developing and executing customer plans, communication, and account penetration
  • Understanding of market dynamics, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Ability to analyze data (e.g., Nielsen / IRI)
  • Knowledge of trade strategy, retail operations, and negotiation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel overnight, with travel requirements varying by location
Compensation

The annual salary ranges from $83,200 to $109,200, based on location, experience, and skills. Discretionary bonuses are also available.
