Job summary

BON Communications, a boutique PR agency specializing in food & beverage, travel, lifestyle, and design, seeks an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to lead day-to-day PR efforts and craft strategic communications for a dynamic client portfolio. You will build media relationships, secure coverage, and guide junior staff while contributing to business development.

Flexible hours and remote work are offered, with occasional travel for client meetings and events as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of public relations agency experience.
• Strong media relationships and a proven track record of securing meaningful coverage.
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Location & Flexibility

This is a remote position for candidates based in Denver, Colorado. Occasional travel is required for client meetings, media events, openings, and team gatherings.

• 4-7 years of public relations agency experience, within hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or food & beverage
• Strong media relationships and a proven track record of securing meaningful coverage
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and project management skills
• Experience managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
• A strategic thinker who can translate client goals into impactful communications programs

Key Responsibilities...

• Lead day-to-day public relations efforts across a portfolio of client accounts
• Develop and execute strategic communications plans that align with client goals
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media across food, travel, lifestyle, design, and business verticals
• Secure impactful regional and national media coverage
• Write and edit press releases, media pitches, award submissions, talking points, bylines, and other communications materials
• Manage media inquiries, interview opportunities, and press visits
• Monitor media coverage, track opportunities, and deliver client reporting
• Identify timely story angles, partnerships, speaking opportunities, and awards programs
• Coordinate media events, openings, tastings, FAM trips, and influencer experiences
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a positive agency culture
• Contribute to business development through strategic thinking, creative ideas, and industry insights
• Represent BON Communications with professionalism, enthusiasm, and hospitality in all interactions
