Job description

Account Executive

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite)

About Us

Togetherwork is a $250M recurring revenue SaaS business with over 33 software applications serving 12+ vertical markets. We exist to help communities, organizations, and businesses thrive by delivering software solutions tailored to their unique needs.

With our new headquarters on South Congress in Austin, TX, we are entering an exciting phase of growth. We work hard and play hard. We love our customers, we innovate with purpose, and we won’t stop until we’ve delighted every client across the diverse ecosystem we serve.

About This Role

Togetherwork is seeking an Account Executive on our RockGymPro product line, responsible for selling our climbing gym management software and integrated payments solution to prospective customers in the climbing and fitness facility vertical.

This is a full-cycle sales role. You will own your territory from first touch to close, build relationships with gym owners and operators, and become a trusted advisor in a niche, high-loyalty industry. You will blend inbound lead follow-up with proactive outbound prospecting, and will partner closely with your Sales Manager and fellow reps to share best practices and shape how we go to market. This role is best suited to a sales professional who wants to own the full sales cycle rather than work inbound leads alone.

What You’ll Do
  • Field inbound leads generated through the website, webinars, and trade shows, and convert them into qualified pipeline opportunities
  • Conduct prospecting and outbound outreach in your assigned market to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of climbing gyms and fitness facilities
  • Develop leads into prospects by deeply understanding their operational challenges and communicating the value of RockGymPro software and integrated payments
  • Qualify and identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within target organizations
  • Run compelling phone and web-based sales presentations and product demos tailored to each prospect
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close, proactively moving opportunities forward at every stage
  • Use Salesforce to maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline, log activity, and provide reliable sales forecasts
  • Nurture both new prospects and existing customer relationships to uncover upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Travel to represent RockGymPro at industry trade shows (2-3 times per year), building brand visibility and sourcing new leads
  • Learn the tools needed to be successful: Salesforce, RockGymPro, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and additional sales enablement platforms
What You’ll Bring
  • 1-2 years of inbound and outbound sales experience, B2B preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a mixed outbound (30%) and inbound (70%) sales motion
  • Background selling service-business SaaS to owner-operators strongly preferred — experience at Mindbody, Gingr, or a similar niche/vertical software company is a significant plus
  • Demonstrated success owning a full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting through close, rather than working inbound leads alone
  • Strong ability to learn and adopt new platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and performs well with limited direction
  • Success-driven, collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • Coachable, resilient, and comfortable receiving direct feedback
  • Familiarity with the climbing gym, fitness, or recreation industry is a plus
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel to industry trade shows as needed
Why This Role

Impact: Sell into a fun, niche industry — you will spend your days talking to climbing gym owners and operators, and no two conversations are the same.

Challenge: Own your territory with full accountability over strategy, execution, and outcomes across the full sales cycle.

Ownership: Manage your book of business end-to-end with autonomy and accountability.

Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive solutions to customer challenges.

The Company offers a comprehensive employee benefits program, including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options
  • 100% Employer paid short/long term disability
  • 100% employer-paid Basic Life and AD&D insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a 100% company match up to 4%
  • Flexible paid personal/vacation time built on mutual trust and accountability
  • 10 sick days annually
  • 10 company paid holidays
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave
