About the Role

As an Account Development Representative (ADR) at Samsara, you will be trained on the job and through formal training programs led by a world-class team of sales professionals to prepare for your next role as a closing Account Executive.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for sourcing pipelines for our EMEA business and generating opportunities via outbound outreach.

We have offices in Munich, Paris and Amsterdam and offer remote working from Germany, France, The Netherlands and London. Our European headquarters are based in London.

In this role, you will

Minimum requirements for the role
  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in customer-facing roles
  • 6–12 months of sales experience as a minimum
  • Highly motivated, with a strong desire to work in target-driven sales
  • Proven track record of consistent over-achievement of targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Curious and able to ask insightful questions

  • Highly proficient in English and in German

ADR pathways

Through Samsara’s ADR program, there are opportunities to move to higher levels and take on more responsibility. Training continues beyond onboarding with opportunities to expand market understanding, develop hard sales skills, and work with mentors to progress through three ADR levels.

  • ADR I: Focus on inbound leads, high-volume conversations, product knowledge, and learning opportunities through coaching, with pathways to progress to higher levels.
  • ADR II: Work on top-of-funnel movement, high-quality sales engagements, outbound skills development, and collaboration with Account Executives. Ongoing training includes professional writing, persona-based messaging, cold calling 2.0, and more. Graduates move toward the final level.
  • ADR III: Partner with field Account Executives and Enterprise Regional Sales Managers on large accounts, implement territory plans, participate in strategy meetings, and participate in customer demos. ADR IIIs may participate in a mentorship program to prepare for an Account Executive role.
