Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. seeks an Account Coordinator, Xpress to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of policy documents, renewals, and day-to-day servicing for small commercial accounts, serving as the primary client contact.

The role supports the Account Management team and facilitates carrier communications to keep service levels high. The candidate should hold a Property & Casualty license, have 2+ years of client service in commercial lines, and possess strong analytical, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or CISR designation preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Four-year degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or a must in some locations.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a point of contact for the client and manages policy documents, renewals, and servicing tasks for small commercial accounts.
  • Identifies, researches and resolves standard client issues in partnership with Account Management.
  • Supports remarketing of renewals to maintain high client retention and creates proposals as directed.
  • Reviews policies from carriers for accuracy and expedites corrections to policies, endorsements, and applications.
  • Facilitates prompt carrier responses to settle claims and communicates significant audit differences to clients.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends, new products, legislation, and technology to improve service quality.
  • Adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, in the service process.

The Account Coordinator must remain knowledgeable of advances in the insurance business as well as keeping abreast of the types of insurance products available.A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAYServes as a point of contact for the client. Monitors client questions, provides recommendations in partnership with the Account Management Team on appropriate coverage changes and/or contractual requirements.Identifies, researches and provides resolutions for standard client issues.Provides support to the Account Management team in the remarketing of renewals to ensure a high level of account retention. Creates proposals as directed by the Account Manager.May review policies received from carriers to ensure accuracy to specifications/binders; expedite with insurance carriers needed corrections to policies received, process or prepare (order, follow-up and/or check) endorsements and applications.Facilitates the prompt response from carriers in an effort to work toward a settlement of all claims.Reviews policy audits and verifies their accuracy. Confirms necessary corrections between the client and the carrier are executed at the direction of the Account Management team. Proactively communicates with client any significant audit differences.Reviews cancellations and determines the reason for cancellation requests with an attempt to save client accounts, as appropriate, while maintaining the company’s financial equity at the direction of the Account Management team.Stays abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge, performance and services to clients.Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLEA Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.Associate in insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent.
