Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of handbag or accessories design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of handbag construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing.
• Excellent sketching, illustration, and product development skills.
• A keen awareness of emerging fashion trends, consumer preferences, and the accessories market.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.
• A creative mindset with the ability to develop original ideas while maintaining commercial appeal.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop handbags, small leather goods, luggage, travel accessories, cosmetic bags, totes, duffles, and men's accessories.
• Collaborate closely with creative leadership to develop seasonal collections that align with market trends and the company's design direction.
• Research emerging trends, materials, silhouettes, colors, hardware, and finishes to inspire new product concepts.
• Create original sketches, design concepts, and detailed technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Develop comprehensive, production-ready tech packs, including specifications, construction details, materials, trims, and hardware.
• Design and develop custom logo hardware and other decorative components.
• Manage design development from initial concept through sampling, revisions, and production handoff.
• Partner with production teams to ensure design integrity, quality, and feasibility throughout the development process.
• Balance creative innovation with commercial considerations, product functionality, and production requirements.
• Contribute to additional design initiatives and special projects as needed.
