Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) seeks an Access Supervisor to oversee referral timeliness, data integrity, and team performance across Southeast Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining high quality client interactions and coordinating with community partners.

The position requires advanced degrees in social work or clinical counseling and an active LISW/LPCC license in Ohio, with leadership experience and HIPAA compliance expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community‑minded, forward‑thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well‑being. We serve Southeast and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Position: Access Supervisor

Location: Southeast, OH

Salary: $61,174.73 to $79,175.95 annually, based on experience

Essential Functions

• Monitors timeliness, accuracy and follow‑up of referral specialist
• Ensures quality and timeliness in written and verbal communication with clients and community partners
• Responsible for performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and team development, including but not limited to implementing progressive discipline when necessary
• Provides routine support and assistance to employees through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing problems, and in improving skills
• Leads agency‑wide collaboration and innovation to support desired outcomes
• Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and/or processes
• Participates in outreach activities such as follow‑up or reminder calls as necessary
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines
• Utilizes databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation
• Travels within designated service areas as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• A bachelor’s degree in social work or clinical counseling is required
• A master’s degree in social work or clinical counseling is required
• An active licensed independent social worker (LISW) or licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio is required

Experience

• 3 years of experience working in the healthcare, behavioral health or a related field is required
• 3 years of experience working in a medical referral position and/or nonprofit administrative management environment is preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written are required
• Ability to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software is required
• Ability to operate in an Internet‑based, automated office environment is required
• Advanced organizational skills are required
• Ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required
• Access to reliable transportation is required
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required
• An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
• Ability to manage deadlines within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment is required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times is required
