Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Supervisor of Access Services to ensure efficient operations and top-tier customer service within the Access Services unit. You will supervise daily activities, manage staffing, monitor performance, and drive process improvements across revenue cycle workflows.

Responsibilities include coaching, call monitoring, handling escalations, and partnering with leadership to ensure financial and service goals are met while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPPA

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Knowledge of general insurance terms and payer workflows.
  • Proficient typing and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the Access Services unit and ensure 24-7 staffing as needed.
  • Monitor outbound and inbound team activities to meet performance goals.
  • Coach, train, and provide feedback to staff; escalate issues to management.
  • Manage financial conversations and support revenue cycle initiatives.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
