Allied Universal in Westminster, CO seeks a Security Guard Access Screening to serve clients across tech/media/telecom locations. The role includes monitoring access, conducting patrols, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining security and safety.

This full-time position offers a $26.00 per hour pay rate, daytime schedule shifts, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
