Amentum is seeking an experienced physical security specialist to safeguard critical assets for a US intelligence community customer in Salt Lake City, UT. The role emphasizes vigilance, trustworthiness, and patience, with comprehensive training and growth opportunities.

Essential duties include monitoring access, validating credentials, and delivering excellent customer service in a 24/7 environment. Candidates must meet stringent clearance and residency requirements and be able to work

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Shift availability: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift; 24/7 operations.
• Must commit to one weekend shift every weekend.
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Must live within 75-mile radius of Salt Lake City, UT.
• Read, speak, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access of employees and visitors to restricted areas.
• Ensure prohibited items do not enter/exit the building.
• Diligently monitor the restricted area.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings.
• Exhibit excellent communication in every interaction.
• Ensure attention to detail.
• Work independently during scheduled shifts.
• Adapt to change in high- vs low-volume environments.
