Job summary

Allied Universal in North Chesterfield, VA, is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Visitor Registration. You will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access points at a chemical/petrochemical facility. Excellent customer service and familiarity with access-control systems are essential.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.56 per hour. You will work a rotating schedule including days and evenings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed), depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access by verifying identification, credentials, and visitor documentation.
• Monitor entry/exit, vehicle traffic, alarms, and access-control systems; report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Conduct patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
