Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Site Entrance in Anderson, SC to safeguard clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter security concerns. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate access-control issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
