Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and maintaining access records.
• Operate access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment per site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents calmly and escalate as needed to leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify unauthorized access and report concerns.
