Job summary

Securitas USA in Frederick, MD is seeking a reliable Access Control Security Officer to monitor entrances, log incidents and maintain a visible security presence at a warehouse facility.

The role requires a rotating schedule, weekend and holiday work, and training. Prior security or customer service experience is helpful. Weekly pay, uniform provided, and a drug screen/background check are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Able to meet licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a guard post to monitor employees and guests to maintain access control.
• Sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Foot patrols consist of 1/2 a mile walk two to three times per shift.
• Monitor temperatures, safety, and maintain a secure presence throughout the warehouse.
• Use a company issued cell phone to log patrols, incident reports and daily action reports.
• Computer, written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Company issued uniform is required at all times.
• No outside electronics.
