Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Elkton, MD. You will safeguard clients, manage access at entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment.

Day-to-day duties include monitoring entry and exit points, logging access, responding to incidents, and patrolling facilities to deter unauthorized activity. 18+ years, HS diploma, and background check required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, informing site contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support access-control operations at a food and beverage location, including traffic around receiving and warehouse areas.
