Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer/Guard in Indiana. You will observe and report activities, patrol client sites, and help maintain a safe environment while delivering customer service to employees and visitors.

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for long periods, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site, pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service, or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
