As a Security Officer in Amana, IA, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will support access control at manufacturing and industrial sites, maintain visitor logs, and perform regular patrols to deter unauthorized access.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue/recover access credentials, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly while following site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, perimeters, parking areas, and other locations to deter unauthorized access.
