GardaWorld Security Services in Florida is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor multiple screens and detect threats in a controlled environment. This part-time role (Fri & Sat, 4:00 pm–2:00 am, 20 hrs/week) offers $17.00 per hour plus benefits, uniform provided, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, documenting incidents, controlling access, and coordinating with law enforcement as needed.

Competenze

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual acuity and concentration.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to stand or walk the entire shift.
• 6 months of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.
• 21+ with a valid Driver's License and clear MVR.
• State Class D license required.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you'll spot threats before they escalat in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Have the ability to stand or walk the entire shift
• Must have 6 months of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience!
• Must be 21 years of age with a valid Driver's License and a clear MVR record
• Must have a state Class D license
