Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial experience servicing security systems.
• Strong knowledge of security system components, integrations, and system architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced or complex system issues.
• Willingness to travel throughout NJ, PA, and NY; valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics-related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and service for security systems, including high-security systems.
• Lead service calls involving complex security system issues and provide expert solutions.
• Troubleshoot, service, and maintain access control, CCTV, and other security components.
• Perform system upgrades and enhancements based on client needs and technology advances.
• Read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities and client interactions.
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians with troubleshooting tasks.
• Work safely on ladders and aerial lifts; comply with safety regulations.
• Travel to customer sites in NJ, PA, and NY as needed.
