Job summary

Chenega Security SBU seeks Access Control personnel to join our INSCOM site in Charlottesville, VA. You will screen employees and visitors to ensure only authorized individuals enter our buildings and maintain overall security of interior and exterior areas.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain necessary permits and clearances. Proficiency with MS Office and strong problem‑solving, time management, and decision‑making skills

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior military, civilian, access control, or security guard experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficient with computers and MS Office applications; strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making abilities.
• Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old; valid state driver’s license; no drug history in past five years.
• Federal Compliance: Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Additional Requirements: complete training and obtain all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances.

• Report Writing: Construct clear, concise, and detailed reports in English.
• Additional Duties: As assigned.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior military, civilian, access control, or security guard experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem‑solving, time management, and decision‑making skills. Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
• Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid state driver’s license, and have no history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture in the past five years.
• Federal Compliance: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
• Additional Requirements: Successfully complete all training and obtain all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $18.50/Hr.
