Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks an Access Coordinator in Disability & Access to manage intake and accommodations for students. You will work with faculty and staff to implement approved accommodations and oversee confidential records in line with FERPA and ADA standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing psycho-educational reports, problem solving with students, and presenting workshops on disability access.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social science, behavioral science, or related field.
• Experience administering student programs or developing student programs (3 years).
• Experience reviewing psycho-educational reports and applying ADA/504 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and drop-in appointments with students and families and maintain a caseload of ~350 students.
• Determine reasonable accommodations and support faculty and staff in implementation.
• Review disability-related documentation to determine eligibility and appropriate accommodations under ADA/504.
