Job description

We Are

Accenture's Oracle practice - and we make the new happen now. Every day, we imagine the future and bring it to life using design thinking, agile development methodologies, and smart technology including IoT, automation, and AI. We built our own platform, myConcerto, that blends the best of Accenture and Oracle to help companies emerge as digital leaders. As a Global Cloud Elite and Platinum member of the Oracle Partner Network with over 145 awards, we're proud the industry is taking notice.

You Are

A finance transformation expert with deep hands-on experience in Oracle Financials. You thrive on helping mid-market clients modernize their core finance operations - Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance applications - and you know how to bridge business process best practice with Oracle Cloud configuration. At the Manager level, you bring both the technical depth to lead workstreams and the leadership presence to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver with confidence.

The Work
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Financials implementations covering Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance applications for mid-market clients under the Accenture Edge model
  • Design and configure finance solutions aligned to client business processes, including chart of accounts design, subledger accounting, payment processing, receivables management, asset lifecycle, and collections strategy
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering and design workshops with client finance and IT stakeholders; document business requirements and solution design decisions
  • Develop functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and test scripts; lead SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
  • Advise clients on Oracle best practices for period-close, reconciliation, and reporting across the financial modules
  • Identify risks, issues, and options proactively; present recommendations to clients and project leadership
  • Support business development through client demos, proposal contributions, and solution storytelling
  • Stay current on Oracle Cloud Financials releases and mid-market-relevant AI/automation capabilities to continuously improve client outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to design and validate Oracle Financials solutions that meet integration and compliance requirements across connected platforms
  • Train and enable client super-users on Oracle Financials processes and configurations; maintain clear system documentation for configurations, integration touchpoints, and operational procedures

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What You Need
  • Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Financials implementation experience, with hands-on configuration expertise across Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance applications
  • Minimum of 5 years working with core finance and accounting processes including period-close, reconciliations, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset management & collections.
  • Minimum of 3 years working with Oracle Projects
  • Minimum of 3 years working directly with mid-market or enterprise clients; ability to communicate effectively with finance business users, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate solution delivery and ensure compliance with business requirements
  • Minimum of 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion Financials) implementations delivered end-to-end — from requirements and design through go-live and hypercare
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)
Bonus Points
If:
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger 2025 Implementation Professional)
  • Experience with Advanced Collections module configuration including dunning letters, Customer statements etc.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) and multi-book accounting setups
  • Experience integrating Oracle Financials with Avanade/Microsoft Azure platforms or Power BI for reporting
  • Understanding of AI-driven finance automation opportunities (e.g., intelligent document processing in AP, predictive collections)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead proposals, solution scoping, and client orals for mid-market pursuits
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or equivalent middleware; ability to engage effectively with integration teams on Oracle Financials connectivity requirements, API interactions, and data flow validation
  • Experience maintaining structured system documentation — configuration workbooks, integration architecture summaries, and operational procedures — for compliance, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support
  • MBA and/or CPA / CA certification
