Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a senior program manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs in the United States, including data centers, grids, rail networks and factories.

You will align stakeholders, manage budget, schedule, and risk across multi-disciplinary teams, and shape sustainable, innovative solutions in collaboration with clients.

Flexible work locations apply as we balance remote, onsite, and office time to suit project needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred, or additional four years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience supporting Advanced Manufacturing construction environments
  • 15+ years of project management experience
  • Experience on projects under design and/or construction may be advantageous
  • Advanced certifications such as CCM, PMP, CEM, or CPMP are valuable

Responsibilities

  • Identify differentiating factors concerning approach, design, and constructability during the construction lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment between all project stakeholders.
  • Manage overall project delivery and project budget through scope, schedule, cost, change, cashflow forecasting, risk management and recovery strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement plans and apply personal expertise.
  • Maintain knowledge of client processes, procedures, and policies and enforce conformance thereof.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Client and their representatives.
  • Monitor training of project staff in coordination with the client and available programs.

THE WORK:
  • You'll identify differentiating factors concerning approach, design, and constructability during the construction lifecycle.
  • You'll be responsible for ensuring alignment between all project stakeholders.
  • You'll be accountable for managing overall project delivery.
  • You'll be responsible for project budget through effective scope management, schedule management, cost control, change control, cashflow forecasting, risk management, and implementation of recovery strategies.
  • You'll participate in continuous improvement plans as directed and/or through proactive application of personal expertise.
  • You'll maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Client’s project processes, procedures, and policies and is responsible for enforcing the use and conformance thereof.
  • You'll develop and maintain continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives.
  • You'll monitor the training of all project staff personnel in coordination with the client and with available programs.
  • You'll promote positive staff morale, professionalism, and attitude and assists to resolve potential deficiencies when identified or perceived.
  • You'll maintain a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

$230,000 - $280,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred. OR additional four (4) years of related experience
  • 5+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience supporting Advanced Manufacturing construction environments
  • 15+ years of project management experience
