Accenture is seeking a Civil Inspector to provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects in California. You will verify compliance with plans and specifications, coordinate with contractors and public agencies, and maintain essential project documentation.

The role requires ABET‑accredited civil engineering education (or an ABET‑equivalent Master’s/Doctorate) and at least 2 years of roadway inspection experience, with on-site client engagement anticipated.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering program required or EIT certification substitution.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program is acceptable alternative.
• Two years’ experience in roadway construction inspection required.

The Work

• You'll provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.

• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$126,000 - $150,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

Here's What You'll Need

• Graduation from a four-year ABET-accredited civil engineering program, or a valid EIT certification may be substituted for the required education
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract
• OR
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract

Bonus Points If You Have

• Knowledge of Caltrans standards
• Knowledge of the physical characteristics and properties of roadway construction materials including concrete and steel
