Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, offers an Accelerated Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program. The program covers testing, fees, courses, and training materials; Texas licensure and ARRT (R) certification are required for selection into the program.

Applicants should have completed a AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or an AA in Radiologic Technology, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school.
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification.
  • Clear/active Texas Medical Board.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist (preferred) or case-by-case basis.

Job Summary and Qualifications
-Accelerated Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program-

This HCA-sponsored program includes all testing, fees, course and training materials. Current ARRT credential and licensure as a Radiology Tech in Texas are required for selection into the training program.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Texas Medical Board
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist (preferred) or (case by case basis)
