Job summary

Electrosoft is seeking a Vulnerability Scanning Administrator to support ACAS deployment and sustainment at a client location in Illinois. This role requires onsite work at Scott Air Force Base with occasional telework.

You will perform automated vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and reporting to system administrators and leadership. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in patch management, a related bachelor's degree, and an active 8140 cybersecurity certification or higher degree.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in patch management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, IT, cyber security, or a related field.
• Active 8140 Cyber Security compliant certification (CFR, CISA, CISM, CySA+, GPEN, GSNA) or advanced degree in related field.
• Experience using Tenable Nessus to conduct vulnerability and compliance scans.
• Experience with vulnerability mitigation and reporting.
• Experience with Windows Server/Workstations and Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience with DISA Vulnerability Management System and STIGs.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Scan the DoD networks for vulnerabilities using DoD standard scanning tools.
• Provide reports to system administrators, leadership, and other organizations.
• Maintain the scanning servers and laptops by applying vendor patches and updating scanning engines and audit files.
• Maintain situational awareness of current vulnerabilities and exploits.
