Job summary

WVU Heart & Vascular Institute, in partnership with West Virginia University School of Medicine, seeks a Vascular Surgeon to practice in Wheeling, WV. Rank options include Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

The position includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential assignments at additional WV sites as needed. The successful candidate will have an MD or DO, completed vascular training, and be board certified or eligible in vascular surgery,

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
• Completed general surgery residency program, as well as a vascular surgery fellowship program or a vascular surgery residency.
• Board certified/eligible in vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of vascular surgery and provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows as part of academic duties.
• May be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and travel as needed.
