Job summary

WVU Medicine's Heart & Vascular Institute in Wheeling, WV, seeks a vascular surgeon at ranks available (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice vascular surgery, participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and work within a collaborative academic environment.

Duties may include service at additional WVU Health System sites across West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel expected to fulfill those duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completed general surgery residency.
• Fellowship or residency in vascular surgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Practice in vascular surgery and provide patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with interventional teams and other specialists.
• Travel to additional worksites in WV, MD, and PA as needed.
