Job summary

WVU Heart and Vascular Institute in Wheeling, WV seeks a Vascular Surgeon (Assistant/Associate/Professor) to practice in a collaborative academic environment.

The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows while delivering exceptional vascular care at WVU Health System and may rotate to additional sites across the region as needed.

Travel to additional sites in WV/MD/PA may be required to fulfill duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and eligible for state medical license.
• General surgery residency completed and vascular surgery fellowship/residency completed.
• Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Practice vascular surgery with emphasis on high-quality patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at WVU Heart and Vascular Institute.
