Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join the Division of Vascular Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The role emphasizes academic activities, teaching surgical residents and medical students, and collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine and CHI Health.

You will participate in a high-volume practice with access to 4 OR suites (including 2 hybrid) and a comprehensive benefit plan, relocation assistance, and a competitive salary guarantee.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
  • Active or eligible license in Nebraska
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in programmatic development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Responsibilities

  • Educate surgical residents and medical students and conduct research in collaboration with CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine
  • Report to the Chair of Surgery at Creighton University and CHI Health
  • Support an academically oriented program as part of Creighton University School of Medicine
  • Work in an academic health system with a focus on teaching and scholarly activities
  • Manage vascular surgery cases within a large, multi-specialty department
