Job summary

The University of Louisville invites applications for a urologist to join the Department of Urology within UofL Health in Louisville, KY. Board eligibility/certification required and a strong interest in oncology, endourology, or FPMRS.

Candidates will participate in clinical and basic science research, teach residents and medical students, and perform minimally invasive and robotic procedures using Da Vinci Xi systems. Fellowship is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible urologist with eligibility to practice in Kentucky.
• Sub-specialty interests in urologic oncology, endourology, or FPMRS preferred.
• Fellowship preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct urology residents and medical students as part of the academic mission.
• Conduct clinical or basic science research alongside patient care.
• Perform minimally invasive and robotic procedures using Da Vinci Xi systems.

Job Description Summary:

Seeking a urologist to join the Department of Urology with UofL Physicians Located in Louisville, KY, the academic health system, UofL Health, is experiencing vast growth across all clinical areas.

Job Description:

To qualify, each candidate must be a board-eligible or board-certified urologist and have a special interest in urologic oncology, endourology and/or FPMRS. A sub-specialty fellowship is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the academic mission by conducting clinical or basic science research and by instructing urology residents and medical students. To be considered, candidates must have mastered surgical procedures related to their respective fellowship training including minimally invasive and da Vinci robotic procedures. Da Vinci Xi robotic systems are available at all training sites.
