Job description

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve on a diverse team within public schools to support student success. You’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and help track student progress. You’ll also mentor students in social-emotional skills, model positive behavior, and assist with classroom activities and after-school programs. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, receive ongoing training and coaching, and grow your leadership skills while making a direct impact on students’ academic achievement and confidence.
