UC San Diego seeks an Academic Surgical Pathologist to join its Division of Anatomic Pathology. The role includes responsibilities for surgical pathology across general care, organ transplant, and cancer programs at UC San Diego Health, including Moores Cancer Center.

The candidate will collaborate on clinical and translational research and will teach medical students, residents, visiting scholars, and fellows.

Formación

• MD/DO/MD-PhD in pathology or related fields.
• California medical license or eligible as determined by Medical Board of California.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Anatomic or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
• Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty or General Surgical Pathology with subspecialty focus by start of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical responsibilities for surgical pathology specimens across general care, organ transplant, and cancer programs at UC San Diego Health.
• Engage in collaborative clinical and translational research with clinical teams and colleagues.
• Teach and educate medical students, residents, visiting scholars, and fellows.

Educación

MD/DO/MD-PhD in pathology or related fields

California medical license or eligible

Board-eligible or board-certified in Anatomic or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology

Fellowship training in surgical pathology subspecialty
