The University of Louisville is seeking to hire an Academic Support Specialist II. The Academic Support Specialist supports undergraduate student persistence, academic achievement, and retention through instruction, coaching, outreach, and intervention services. This position assists with the delivery of the Cardinal Academic Success Seminar (GEN 102), providing classroom instruction, academic coaching, attendance monitoring, and student progress support. The role also coordinates outreach and intervention efforts for students participating in other academic support initiatives.
Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or similar programs; or at least 18 hours of graduate work. Knowledge of/experience using software used in college or high school settings. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with college students in advising, coaching, teaching, student success, retention, or related areas.
Targeted Salary $48,225
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
