Job summary

Kishwaukee Education Consortium is seeking one paraprofessional to support student academics for the 2026-2027 school year at the Phoenix Academy. The role focuses on academic and social support, collaboration with staff, and helping implement targeted interventions to improve student access to the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Passing ETS Paraprofessional assessment
• Paraprofessional Endorsement or Teaching Endorsement

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in the classroom and throughout the academic day as determined by the educational team.
• Support small groups or individual students and implement interventions under supervision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters pertaining to students and personnel.
• Communicate concerns and information to the educational team and families as appropriate.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the classroom teacher or administration
