Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with adult learning and assessment of learning deficits desired.
• Experience supporting medical students is a plus.
• Proven ability to help adult learners improve study skills, time management, and test performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify students’ academic support and developmental needs and advocate for supportive learning environments.
• Design individualized study strategies and learning plans; monitor progress.
• Maintain case files for all students receiving services.
• Develop and deliver programs on study skills, time management, test taking, etc.
• Be aware of the program calendar and course flow, including exams and board readiness.
• Attend and participate on committees as needed.
• Provide flexible hours, including some evenings and Sundays.
• Lead and monitor pathway program improvements for struggling students.
• Collaborate with the OASIS Team to support student success.
• Other duties as assigned.
