State University of New York at Buffalo seeks an Academic Scholar – Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences to join UBMD Pathology. The role encompasses sign-out duties across general and subspecialty pathology and participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards.

The incumbent will autopsy pathology, contribute to Laboratory Medicine, and teach residents and medical and dental students, while engaging in clinical service within University

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a General Pathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology. Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:

• General and subspecialty sign out
• Autopsy pathology
• Select areas of Laboratory Medicine
• Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
• Multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Residency teaching and oversight
• Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching
