Position Summary

The Departmentof Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Thoracic Surgeon. This position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level. Rank will commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing thoracic surgery services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care.

Overall duties include:

Serving as attending physician for inpatient thoracic surgery care services
Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for thoracic surgery patients
