Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine invite applications for an Academic Rheumatologist. This clinical teaching role blends patient care with medical education within a collaborative team.

You will contribute to rheumatology teaching for Internal Medicine residents and medical students, participate in grand rounds and lectures, and have access to ultrasound-guided procedures as desired.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions.
• BLS.
• A record of excellence in clinical care and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient rheumatology with inpatient call 1:4.
• Call: 1:4 for clinic calls and inpatient rounding.
• Work 4.5 days per week.
• Participate in a vibrant teaching service doing grand rounds, board review lectures and medical school lectures.
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures if desired.
• Faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine.
