Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, seeks a faculty member to participate in clinical care, teaching, and research in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Responsibilities include education of students and residents, development of clinical research projects, service on committees, and participation in clinic, inpatient care, and operating room activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of ABOG or ACGME accredited fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility
• Eligible for medical license in Virginia
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching and patient care
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: actively participating in the department’s educational activities, educating students and residents in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
• Research: initiate clinical research projects and contribute to scholarly publications/presentations
• Service: serve on department/hospital/university committees and in professional activities
• Clinical: participate in clinical activities in the reproductive endocrinology and infertility division (clinic, inpatient care, OR)
• Other: participate in department and institutional administrative activities as assigned by the section chief and chair.
