Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), College of Medicine, Department of Radiation Medicine invites a third full-time radiation oncologist to join the Murrells Inlet satellite facility. The role integrates with MUSC and Hollings Cancer Center, offering faculty rank based on experience and potential involvement in clinical trials and resident education.

Physicians will work with an established team, supported by two Varian TrueBeam accelerators and advanced planning systems,

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required or eligible for board certification.
• Faculty appointment based on experience with opportunities in clinical trials and resident education.
• ACGME-accredited residency programs for physicians supported by the department.

Responsibilities

• Join current Radiation Oncology team at MUSC Health/Tidelands Health Radiation Therapy Center in Murrells Inlet, SC.
• Participate in teaching, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary patient care.
• Contribute to research initiatives and cancer center programs as part of a tertiary referral center.
