Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to practice in Lebanon, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT.

The role emphasizes academic cancer care within a collaborative team and offers access to state-of-the-art technology including MRI linear accelerators and HDR systems. Candidates should be BE/BC in Radiation Oncology, licensed in NH and VT, with a strong track record in cancer care and research collaboration opportunities with Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Medical license in NH and VT required.
• Experience with external beam radiotherapy and modern planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to provide per diem coverage across NH/VT locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and determine appropriate treatments for cancer patients.
• Deliver radiation therapy, including IMRT/IGRT/SRT, with modern equipment.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with ABR-certified physicians and physicists as a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call rotations and administrative duties.
