Job summary

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our faculty at the Philadelphia and South Georgia locations. This role blends patient care with medical student and psychology trainee education.

An MD or DO and an active PA licensure are required, with ABPN/AOBNP board status or eligibility. Responsibilities include outpatient evaluations, medication management, leading care teams, trainee supervision, and contributing to curriculum and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state medical licensure, DEA, and CS registration in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the AOBNP or ABPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and outpatient consultations.
• Lead psychiatric care teams and provide consultation to physicians, students, psychologists, and interns.
• Supervise trainees and precept PCOM medical students in outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in the EMR system.
