Job summary

The Wright Center invites applications for a physician faculty role in psychiatry at our Wilkes-Barre, PA site. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an academic, safety-net environment.

You will mentor residents and medical students, engage in scholarly activity, and contribute to program development. This is an on-site, full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and career growth within The Wright Center

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board-certified in psychiatry.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatric residency program is required.
• Current PA medical licensure and relevant certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Medication management for patients with mental health conditions.
• Offer clinical supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and teach residents/students.
• Collaborate with primary care and other specialists in an integrated care model.
