Job summary

University of North Texas Health Fort Worth seeks an Academic Program Coordinator to support the Associate Dean for Community Partnerships and Practice. The role involves scheduling, contracts, MOUs, event planning, and governance coordination.

Qualifications

Department Summary

UNT Health is one of the three higher education institutions within the University of North Texas (UNT) System, alongside UNT at Denton and UNT at Dallas. Position Overview

The Department of Public Health at TCOM is seeking to hire an Academic Program Coordinator who will provide instrumental support to the portfolio of the Associate Dean for Community Partnerships and Practice.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to customize communications for all audiences.
  • Ability to be organized, work with deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all individuals (community members, administrators, faculty, staff, students).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or similar discipline.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or related data management tools/systems.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Pro, Teams, Canva.
  • Management and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
Job Duties
  • Meeting scheduling, purchasing, meeting agenda development (Community Corps Governance Council and Academic Community Partnerships Advisory Board), contracts/vendor payments, MOU development/processing, event planning and implementation.
  • Data collection, monitoring and evaluation, member recruitment, member management/communication, event organizing, newsletter development, web content management, faculty support (arranging guest speakers, class facilitation, and other CC member involvement), faculty engagement (to encourage Community Corps integration).
  • Community partner list management, adding information to Salesforce and keeping it updated, community survey implementation, documentation of touchpoints/encounters Preceptor (site supervisor) recruitment, student/community surveys for matching program, qualitative and quantitative matching of students and potential preceptors, coordinating and hosting virtual interviews, analyzing post-interview ratings/rankings, making final match recommendations, advising students who need help securing an internship site, monitoring student’s onboarding, drafting attestation letters for host organizations, managing the PrePHED 5100 and Learning Plus Site Supervisor Canvas courses and assignments, event planning (orientation, Practice Day), managing student and site supervisor awards (product submissions, surveys, recruiting judges, analyzing results, selecting awards), keeping students and community partners aware of pending deadlines/due dates, updating web and canvas content, drafting operating procedures.
  • Attending meetings or representing associate dean at meetings.
  • Managing email accounts for Public Health Practice experience and the Community Corps.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or TCOM leadership team.
