Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks an oral & maxillofacial surgeon to join a unique academic–private hybrid team. You will supervise residents in a high-volume outpatient setting while maintaining private-practice-style patient care and robust operative experience.

The role includes teaching across the full scope of OMS, with collaborative, multidisciplinary care and dedicated time for mentorship and research collaboration in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited OMS residency
• Board certified or board eligible (ABOMS)
• Eligible for Wisconsin medical/dental licensure

Responsibilities

• Time in clinic supervising residents.
• Teaching full-scope OMS and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Private practice–style patient care with strong operative experience.
• Share 1 week/month on-call with residents.
