Job summary

The University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine Faculty Practice at UCF Health in Orlando, FL, seeks three full-time primary care physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join an expanding academic practice. Outpatient care is emphasized, with potential teaching and research roles and collaboration across specialties.

Positions are non-tenure track clinical appointments at rank of assistant, associate, or professor of medicine, with five days a week and protected

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
• Candidates must be eligible for licensure or actively licensed to practice in Florida.
• Board certification is expected within two years of completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient patient care in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Collaborate with multiple specialties to build outpatient practice.
• Possibly teach or precept medical learners and participate in clinical research.
• Work in a team-based model that may include Federally Qualified Health Clinics.

Education

MD/DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school

Eligible for licensure or actively licensed in Florida

Boarded or board-eligible; board certification within 2 years
