Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University is seeking a fellowship-trained Hand Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in a dynamic academic setting in St. Louis. The role blends clinical care in a Level I Trauma Center with teaching and research opportunities.

You will participate in outpatient clinics and ASC procedures, pursue scholarly activities if desired, and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team supported by robust resources and a strong referral network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Completion of Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hand and upper extremity surgery patient care within a Level I Trauma Center.
• Perform hand and upper extremity surgical procedures.
• Participate in outpatient clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC).
• Engage in teaching, mentoring, and academic activities with medical students and residents.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities (optional expansion available).
• Share in hand surgery call coverage.
