Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking an Academic Advanced Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist and Echocardiography Laboratory Director to lead our nationally recognized cardiovascular program.

You will oversee a comprehensive imaging service, including CT, MRI, echocardiography, and structural heart imaging, while shaping the program’s strategic direction and educational mission for trainees and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging or equivalent.
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure.
• Passion for academic medicine, education, leadership, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Echocardiography Laboratory Director and oversee imaging programs.
• Expand advanced cardiac imaging including CT, MRI, Echocardiography, and Structural Heart Imaging.
• Educate cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students while advancing research and scholarly activities.
• Collaborate across disciplines with Structural Heart Disease, Heart Failure, EP, Interventional Cardiology, and Surgery.
