Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for pediatric population.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental/behavioral psychology.
• Ability to supervise medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care including exams, assessments, and treatment.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and related care components as needed.
• Supervise and train medical students and residents in specialty activities.
• Manage daily operations of a medical program or unit as applicable.
• Coordinate patient care with nursing and support staff.
• Adhere to departmental policies and quality/safety standards.
• Participate in health promotion and education initiatives.
